There are many reasons why our staff is excellent. We recruit the best candidates, train them well and continuously motivate them by way of staff recognition programmes and recreational activities to give them a respite from their week of hard work. The favourite recreational activities are dominoes and a game of cricket – which is played mostly on Sundays where departments vie for bragging rights. Invariably it’s a game of spills and thrills and great laughter enjoyed by guests and staff alike.
She is the coolest Restaurant Supervisor – always even tempered she knows how to handle crises; is a great mediator and motivator. Every encounter with Olive will be a pleasant one.
Posing with Corporate Chef Stan Baxter based in Galley Bay is Chef Ancil Ellis (Chef Baka) who is a native to St. Vincent. He is trained in local and international cuisine and is very passionate about his job. He frequently comes out to the restaurant to talk to the guests and takes pride in sharing local recipes at his weekly cooking classes.
The Head Boat Captain who is in charge of the Boats and Watersports department. He is frequently the first Palm Island face you see when you board the guest boat at the dock and are met with a cold towel and chilled bottled water and whisked off to your island hideaway. You may see him piloting the Pink Lady on a sunset cruise or taking a couple sailing on a Hobie cat.
